Former Chelan High School player Aliyah Finch and her Central Washington Wildcats secured an 81-73 victory over the Vanguard Lions in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.

The competition kicked off against the Vanguard Lions at 7:30 p.m. inside Nicholson Arena, marking the teams’ first tournament matchup.

The Wildcats are set to compete in their next tournament game at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 16, again at Nicholson Arena.
