NCW Libraries is proud to partner with Confluence Health to present a series of 6 virtual programs featuring medical experts from Confluence who will cover an array of relevant and timely health related topics including depression, cancer prevention, healthy approaches to weight loss, sleep, and more. Each presentation will be followed by a question and answer time.

Join us on Wednesday, May 4 at 7PM for a conversation about healthy weight loss approaches with Andrew Toth, MD and Jess Tyrrell, RD. Research shows that our bodies have a natural weight or ‘set point’ that it will return to regardless of what we eat and how much we exercise. As we age, often that set point increases. Learn the causes of weight set point increase and identify ways to push that set point back down in a healthy, sustainable way.

Andrew Toth, MD is Director at Weight Management Center.

All NCW Libraries events are free and open to the public. Register here to receive an email with the zoom meeting information. If you don’t receive an email with the meeting link, please reach out to info@ncwlibraries.org. All participants must abide by the NCW Libraries Code of Conduct.
