• Please avoid travel on City streets if possible.
• Moving your vehicle from on-street parking helps our Maintenance Crews plow the streets.
• Public Works Maintenance Crews will be moving to 24-hour snow plowing schedule beginning this evening.
• During the storm, when it is snowing, the plowing is focused on the main travel routes which is approximately 50% of the City street network.
• When it stops snowing and the main travel routes are plowed, the Maintenance Crews will begin plowing residential streets.
• After a large storm, it takes the City Maintenance Crews at least 24 hours to plow all the City streets – please be patient, they are working around the clock.
• Please remember to shovel the snow from your sidewalk following the storm.
• If you have an emergency please call 911.
