Historic Preservation Board Vacancy

The City of Wenatchee is seeking applications from citizens who may be interested in serving on the Historic Preservation Board to fill a vacancy for an unexpired term ending

December 31, 2024.  The City of Wenatchee actively encourages citizen involvement and this is a great opportunity for individuals seeking genuine public service.

The City of Wenatchee’s Historic Preservation Board is comprised of volunteers and serves in an advisory capacity to the Wenatchee City Council and the Community and

Economic Development Department. The Historic Preservation Board reviews all properties for placement or removal on the Wenatchee and National Register of Historic Places and

makes recommendations to the City Council for final approval. It also reviews all changes to properties listed on the local register and/or located in the Grandview Historic District

prior to permit issuance. They meet the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM at Wenatchee City Hall.

If you would like to be considered for the vacancy, please complete the Volunteer Commission/Board Application found on the city’s website at https://www.wenatcheewa.gov/get..
