On March 25, 2026, Rep. Schrier claimed that “President Trump has only approved 23% of disaster aid requests for blue states, compared to 89% for red states. This is vengeance and will hurt all Americans – whether they are Republicans or Democrats – as parts of our country recover from catastrophic flooding, wildfire, and https://t.co/M0sakXUHDw”. The post criticized the administration’s approach to disaster relief distribution following recent natural disasters.

Later that day, she commented on child online safety legislation: “This is an important step forward in holding big tech accountable for the harm they are causing young people. If the Republican-led Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) becomes law, this type of progress would be rolled back by failing to add meaningful protections for children and”. Schrier expressed concern about potential shortcomings in proposed federal legislation intended to regulate social media platforms’ impact on youth.
