Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., a member of the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 8th district since 2019, recently addressed several issues on her social media platform, including constituent services and federal health policy.

On July 24, 2025, Schrier highlighted her office’s assistance to a local resident, stating, “My office recently helped Maria from Sammamish with her mom’s USCIS case. Read more about what she had to say, and please be sure to contact my office if you need help with the IRS, VA, Social Security, or another federal agency.”

The following day, Schrier expressed concerns regarding Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s suitability for a cabinet position. On July 25, 2025, she wrote: “RFK Jr. has no business being our Secretary of Health and Human Services. His peddling of anti-vax conspiracy theories and firing of medical experts puts all of us in danger. I will continue to fight back against his misinformation because no one should die from a disease that”.

Later that same day, Schrier posted an update titled “Schrier Flyer,” sharing information relevant to her constituents: “Here is this week’s Schrier Flyer!”

Schrier has represented Washington’s 8th District in Congress since succeeding Dave Reichert in 2019 and currently resides in Sammamish. She was born in Los Angeles in 1968 and holds a BS degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
