Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., a member of the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 8th district, has recently shared her activities and concerns through social media posts. Her recent tweets highlight her involvement in affordable housing initiatives and express significant apprehensions regarding data privacy issues involving Elon Musk.

On February 4, 2025, Rep. Schrier tweeted about her visit with the Imagine Housing team to tour the Rose Crest Property in Issaquah. She emphasized learning about their work in developing affordable housing and discussed her congressional efforts to address the ongoing housing crisis.

In another post on February 5, 2025, Rep. Schrier announced her intention to join Congressional Democrats in demanding transparency from the Trump administration regarding what personal information Elon Musk has accessed and his plans for it. She expressed concern over the protection of her constituents’ financial and health data.
