Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., a congressional representative for Washington’s 8th District since 2019, has been actively engaging with her constituency through various social media updates. Schrier, who succeeded Dave Reichert in 2019, frequently shares updates on key national and local events.

On April 12, 2025, Schrier issued a reminder to her constituents that the deadline for filing taxes was approaching on the following Tuesday. She highlighted that some residents of Washington might qualify for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and provided a link for more information.

A day later, on April 13, 2025, Schrier extended her warm wishes to those observing Passover. She extended her greetings not only to her constituents in the Eighth District but also to those celebrating worldwide, with a traditional greeting “Chag Pesach Sameach!”

Later on April 13, 2025, Rep. Schrier met with the Washington Delegation of America for Ukraine to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Kim Schrier was born in Los Angeles, California in 1968 and currently resides in Sammamish. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BS in 1991.
