Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., who represents Washington’s 8th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently highlighted several federal funding initiatives and concerns about public land management through a series of posts on her official Twitter account.

The following day, August 12, she met with representatives from Snoqualmie Valley Hospital to discuss an upcoming health facility: “It was great to meet with the @sno_hospital to discuss their new health Hub. That is why I called on the Trump Administration to take immediate action to improve the state of treasured public land and protect public health.”
Schrier has represented Washington’s 8th District since 2019 after succeeding Dave Reichert. She was born in Los Angeles in 1968 and currently resides in Sammamish. Schrier earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991.
