Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 8th district, has shared a series of tweets highlighting her recent activities and acknowledgments. Schrier, who replaced Dave Reichert in 2019, uses social media to engage with her constituents and share updates on her work.

On May 16, 2025, Rep. Schrier posted “Here is this week’s Schrier Flyer! https://t.co/MS1H8UCIfA”. The “Schrier Flyer” is a regular update that provides insights into her legislative efforts and community engagement.

The following day, May 17, 2025, she expressed gratitude towards military personnel by stating “Our country is free thanks to those who are fighting to defend our nation.” She further acknowledged the service of men and women in the United States Armed Forces by thanking them for their patriotism and sacrifice.

On May 18, 2025, Rep. Schrier tweeted about her meeting with members of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP). She noted “I was delighted to meet with members of @AACAP to discuss policy solutions to expand children’s access to mental health care.” This meeting focused on addressing the ongoing mental health crisis affecting children.

Kim Schrier was born in Los Angeles in 1968 and resides in Sammamish. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.
