Updated weather forecast from the National Weather Service Spokane office:
Red Flag Conditions through Wednesday
It will be an extended period of breezy to gusty winds as the recent heat breaks down and temperatures return to seasonal readings. Little to no precipitation is expected through
the week and the air mass will be unseasonably dry. The combination of dry conditions, warm temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday, and gusty afternoon and early evening winds
will increase the risk for rapidly spreading wildfires with any new ignitions.
KEY POINTS
— Critical Fire Weather Conditions from Wind and Low Humidity Through Wednesday.
— Gusty winds continue Thursday with cooler temperatures.
