Later that day, she expressed condolences over a violent incident involving Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington, D.C. In her tweet posted at 18:44 UTC, Schrier conveyed her sorrow over the deaths of Yaron and Sarah outside the Capital Jewish Museum: “My heart breaks for Yaron and Sarah, the two Israeli Embassy staffers who were murdered last night in a targeted attack outside of the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C.” She also condemned antisemitism which she noted as rampant.

The following day on May 23 at 18:42 UTC, Rep. Schrier shared her latest newsletter with constituents through what she refers to as the “Schrier Flyer”: “Here is this week’s Schrier Flyer! https://t.co/X1kSpNA994”.

Kim Schrier has been serving since replacing Dave Reichert in 2019 and is originally from Los Angeles but now resides in Sammamish. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley earned in 1991.
