Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., U.S. Representative for Washington’s 8th congressional district, shared updates on her recent activities and engagements via her official Twitter account in mid-May 2026.

On May 16, Schrier posted “Here is this week’s Schrier Flyer! https://t.co/BZCVcc5Oyk”, referencing her regular newsletter that provides constituents with information about her latest work in Congress and the district.

Later that day, Schrier highlighted a visit to local emergency services, posting on May 16: “I recently stopped by the Enumclaw Fire Department to chat with first responders, hear about fire season preparations, and ask how my office can be supportive of their work to keep us all safe! Thank you! https://t.co/QUEEeLsra2”.

In another post on May 16, she reported on a healthcare-focused tour: “I had a great tour of Columbia Valley Community Health’s new facility in Wenatchee, where we discussed the importance of their youth behavioral health program and supporting the mental health of kids in the area. https://t.co/OLNgkuhsNO”.

Schrier has represented Washington’s 8th district since 2019. Her district includes parts of King, Pierce, Kittitas, and Chelan counties. As a member of Congress with a background as a pediatrician, she often focuses on public health issues and community engagement through visits with local organizations and first responders.
