The following day, December 8, she celebrated local student achievements in technology innovation. She wrote: “I was happy to host our local Congressional App Challenge contestants and congratulate our winners, Pranav Venkatesh, Aviv Chatterjee, Aadi Saraf, and Ikhtyar Esmail! Their app, MediConnect, allows EMTs to access details such as allergies, medications, conditions, and past” The message highlighted the importance of youth engagement in STEM fields through initiatives like the Congressional App Challenge.
Later that same day, Rep. Schrier shared her experience visiting a local school: “Thank you Tahoma High School for letting me stop by to chat with students in civics, robotics, and even sports medicine classes! You all have such bright futures ahead of you, and I look forward to visiting again soon.”
