Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., a member of the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 8th district, recently used her social media platform to offer assistance to constituents and address federal policy changes.
On January 4, 2026, Schrier posted: “Are you having trouble with a federal agency like the IRS, VA, or Social Security? If so, my office may be able to help! To connect with our casework team, you can call my office at (425) 657-1001 or follow the link below. https://t.co/xJ63oevX2j”
The following day, on January 5, she shared another message aimed at those planning visits to the nation’s capital: “If you’re traveling to Washington, D.C., soon and would like to tour the Capitol, White House, or FBI, my office can help! To request a tour, please visit my website below. https://t.co/lwlfPcLa6d”

Schrier has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Dave Reichert as representative for Washington’s 8th District. She was born in Los Angeles in 1968 and currently resides in Sammamish. Schrier holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
