Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently shared updates on her official Twitter account regarding her engagements with constituents and her stance on public health policy.
On March 16, 2026, Schrier posted about honoring a local veteran: “I had the honor of presenting James Davenport and his wife, Judy, of Sammamish, with a Vietnam Veteran and spouse pin to recognize his service to the nation during the Vietnam War. Later that day, she addressed vaccine policy issues in another post: “Thank you, Judge Murphy, for holding RFK Jr. and the Trump administration accountable for gutting evidence-based vaccine policy, appointing unqualified people to the CDC’s vaccine advisory panel (ACIP), and undermining the integrity of the entire CDC. Blocking these harmful” (March 16, 2026).
On March 17, 2026, Schrier highlighted her visit to a local fire district: “Fire Chief Johnson of Darrington Fire District 24 recently gave Mayor Rankin and me a tour of their station and equipment. Thank you for all you do to keep our communities safe! https://t.co/VPahypXYb3”.
Schrier represents Washington’s 8th congressional district in Congress. She is also known for her background as a pediatrician before entering politics.
