Wenatchee Valley Humane Society issued the following announcement on July 2.
"I HAVE A FEW ISSUES...but maybe they will be OK for you." Agnus is a 10 year old little Shih Tzu gal and she is having a tough time here in the shelter. Agnus is fine if we hold her, carry her, or have her laying next to us so she can touch us and know we are right there. But without a person with her she is quite distressed and makes a rather loud cry of distress and sadness. The minute she makes contact with one of us she immediately stops and settles right down. She was brought to the shelter because she was hit by a car but actually had just a very minor injury, but the experience was probably very traumatic. No one came forward to claim her and now she needs the RIGHT home. If you are a person who is calm, gentle, has a peaceful home, and are home a lot, you may be able to give Agnus the stability, comfort and security she needs. She is very loving and so happy to be with you, but does want to be with you most of the day. Agnus has some vision impairment but gets around just fine, she also has a heart murmur, but came through her spay surgery with no problem. Agnus needs an angel and we know there is one out there.
*If you are wanting to adopt Agnus please call the shelter (509 662-9577) to make an appointment to meet her. We are taking appointments Friday July 3, but are closed on Saturday July 4.
