Environmental Film & Speaker Series: Eating our Way to Extinction
Details
Date: September 8
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Join us on Thursday, September 8 at 7 PM as we partner with Wenatchee Confluence Rotary Club for our Environmental Film and Speaker Series to show “Eating our way to
Extinction.” This film takes audiences on a cinematic journey around the world, from the depths of the Amazon rainforests to the Taiwanese Mountains, the Mongolian desert, the
US Dust Bowl, the Norwegian Fjords and the Scottish coastlines, telling the story of our planet through shocking testimonials, poignant accounts from Indigenous people most
affected by our ever-changing planet, globally renowned figures and leading scientists.
Our 21st annual Environmental Film & Speaker Series explores topics important to our community by connecting us to the world around us, raising awareness of issues impacting
the environment upon which we all depend, and identifying actions our community can take to impove and sustain our Valley. These family-friendly films are offered by donation to
the Museum. There are two viewing options, please register below to attend in-person or to participate vitrually through the livestream.
