Supply issues are causing chip sealing on Squilchuck Road to go slower than we would like

Supply issues are causing chip sealing on Squilchuck Road to go slower than we would like. Turns out, cities and counties across the state all want a limited supply of oil right now.

This means we will be on Squilchuck Road through Thursday. We had hoped to be off earlier and on to other areas.

Please plan for road delays and to watch for one-lane, flagger-controlled traffic in the work area. We are also using a pilot car this week in the work zone. Keep your speeds lower

when on freshly chip-sealed roads because of the loose rock.
