The Chelan County fire marshal is extending the Stage 1 fire restrictions for one more week

The Chelan County fire marshal is extending the Stage 1 fire restrictions for one more week. (Cross your fingers for that rain we’re supposed to get!) And that means no burning of

yard waste at this time.

Need a place to bring that yard waste? We have several sites in Chelan County where you can bring your yard waste. They are listed at https://www.co.chelan.wa.us/…/pages/drop

off-brush-sites

Just a word of caution, part of the county is in the Apple Maggot Quarantine Zone. Our Leavenworth brush drop-off site, open only on Fridays, may be open for a few more weeks

yet for those people living in the quarantine zone. We close it when the weather turns.

Don’t know if you live in the quarantine zone? Go to the state’s searchable map: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/InformationLookup/index.html…
