This week will bring some activity around the West Cashmere Bridge as the contractor finishes up final punch-list work. The contractor will be planting along the Wenatchee River

and shooting seed and mulch Monday through Wednesday. No impacts are expected to Highway 2.

On Wednesday, single-lane closures on Highway 2 at Hay Canyon Road are necessary so a crew can install a crosswalk across the highway and place some shoulder rock along

the edge of the pavement. Single-lane closures will be both eastbound and westbound. Motorists should lower their speed limits through the area and watch for signage directing

traffic.

Later, on Oct. 24-25, a contractor will be onsite to place the last of the guardrail across the old south approach to the highway signal. Impacts will be to only eastbound traffic.
