On April 18, 2025, Rep. Kim Schrier expressed her excitement about attending the official groundbreaking for the Confluence Parkway project. She noted, "I was thrilled to attend the official groundbreaking for the Confluence Parkway project. Since entering Congress, this project has been a priority of mine, and I’m proud to have been able to secure over $90 million in federal funding to turn it into a reality."
In another social media post from the same day, Schrier acknowledged the turnout of constituents at her town hall in Wenatchee. Kim Schrier is a seasoned politician who was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1968. She resides in Sammamish and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, which she received in 1991.
