Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., a member of the U.S. Congress representing Washington's 8th District, recently shared updates on her activities and engagements via her official social media platform. Schrier has been in Congress since 2019, succeeding Dave Reichert, and is actively involved in various projects and connect with her constituents.

On April 18, 2025, Rep. Kim Schrier expressed her excitement about attending the official groundbreaking for the Confluence Parkway project. She noted, "I was thrilled to attend the official groundbreaking for the Confluence Parkway project. Since entering Congress, this project has been a priority of mine, and I’m proud to have been able to secure over $90 million in federal funding to turn it into a reality."

In another social media post from the same day, Schrier acknowledged the turnout of constituents at her town hall in Wenatchee. She stated, "Thank you to the 160 constituents who showed up for my town hall in Wenatchee yesterday. I always appreciate the opportunity to hear directly from my constituents and to get the chance to answer your questions on important issues like health care, agriculture, and more."

Additionally, Schrier encouraged her audience to check out her weekly newsletter, posting, "Here is this week's Schrier Flyer!" on April 18, 2025.

Kim Schrier is a seasoned politician who was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1968. She resides in Sammamish and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, which she received in 1991.
