Douglas County, WA issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
Do you have paint, batteries, old motor oil, or other household hazardous waste items laying around that you've been waiting to get rid of or weren't sure how to dispose of? If so, you're in luck! Douglas County Solid Waste will be hosting a free household hazardous waste collection event for all Douglas County residents (including those living within city/town limits) on Saturday, Mar. 26th from 8am to 2pm at the East Wenatchee City Hall.
