Douglas County is now seeking interested candidates to serve on the Douglas County Boundary Review Board. The purpose of the Boundary Review Board is to provide a fair and impartial inter-governmental decision process for citizens, cities, towns, counties, special purpose districts, and private parties on boundary issues including:
+ Annexation
+ Incorporation/Disincorporation
+ Jurisdictional boundary line establishment, changes, and disputes.
Boundary Review Board members are citizens appointed by elected officials - The Washington State Governor, county executives, Special Purpose Districts, and city officials.
The Douglas County Boundary Review Board has three vacancies, one appointment made by the Board of County Commissioners, and two appointments by the Washington State Governor.
