It’s the 103rd year of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, the oldest major festival in the State of Washington! It’s exciting to have a full festival this year after the pandemic pause and last year’s later festival!
Here are some street closures to be aware of for the weekend events during Apple Blossom:
Saturday, April 30 – Wenatchee Valley Color Run @ 9:00am: The run begins at Triangle Park, down Orondo Avenue to Mission Street, and then travels North on Mission Street ending at Seventh Street.
Saturday, April 30 – Keyes Fibre Youth Parade @ 11:00am: The parade staging begins at Triangle Park, down Orondo Avenue to Mission Street, and then travels North on Mission Street ending at Fifth Street.
Saturday, May 7 – Stemilt Grand Parade @ 11:00am: The parade staging begins at Triangle Park, down Orondo Avenue to Wenatchee Avenue, and then travels North on Wenatchee Avenue ending at Seventh Street.
Saturday May 7 – Tour de Bloom @ 2:00pm: The Wenatchee Valley Velo Tour de Bloom will start right after the parade ends. The bike race route includes Wenatchee Avenue between Palouse and Second Streets, Second Street between Wenatchee Avenue and Mission Street, Mission Street between Second Street and Palouse Street, and Palouse Street between Mission Street and Wenatchee Avenue.
