Officer Isaac Cooper will join Officer Ivy Jacobsen as the second School Resource Officer for the Eastmont School District starting on October 24th. Representatives from the
Eastmont School District partnered with the East Wenatchee Police Department to make the appointment. Before March of 2022, it had been 10 years since the Eastmont School
District had a dedicated School Resource Officer.
Officer Cooper has been with the East Wenatchee Police Department for 5 years. He is a Field Training Officer, and a member of the East Cascade SWAT Team. Prior to joining
EWPD Officer Cooper graduated from Gonzaga University. Officer Cooper places a high emphasis on his involvement with our community and has already partnered with Officer
Jacobsen on several events.
Both officers will work in all the Eastmont Schools, but Officer Cooper will be primarily responsible for the two Junior Highs, and Officer Jacobsen for Eastmont Highschool.
