Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., a U.S. Congresswoman representing Washington's 8th district, shared her views and activities through a series of tweets in late January and early February 2025. Schrier, who has been serving in Congress since 2019, addressed issues related to women's reproductive rights, shared updates on her newsletter, and engaged with constituents through local employment experiences.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Kim Schrier expressed concerns about RFK Jr.'s stance on women's reproductive rights during an interaction with Senator Hassan. She noted that "When questioned by @SenatorHassan on a woman's right to reproductive care, RFK Jr. proved that he would follow President Trump's lead and not protect women's access to FDA-approved medication like Mifepristone." The tweet can be accessed here.

In another tweet posted on February 1, 2025, Schrier announced the release of her monthly newsletter by stating: "Here is this month's Schrier Flyer!" The link to the newsletter was included in the tweet which can be viewed here.

Later on February 1st, Rep. Schrier participated in her community engagement initiative called "Hire Dr. Schrier," where she worked at a McDonald's in Issaquah. She tweeted about the experience saying: "For this latest round of Hire Dr. Schrier, I joined the team at McDonald’s in Issaquah! I had a great time getting to serve constituents and work with the staff. Special thanks to Alan, the franchise owner and operator, for having me!" This post is available here.
