On Wednesday, October 19th, from 6-8 pm, we invite the community to join or drive by for the 2nd Annual Forest of Hope, a fundraiser featuring sponsored luminaries for one night
at Our House, a healthcare hospitality house for cancer patients in Wenatchee.
Last year's event was a unique and memorable evening, thanks to the generosity of donors, volunteers, and attendees. We are excited to share that over 3x the number of
luminarias were sponsored and will be displayed this year. We will light up the night in honor of cancer survivors, supporters of those going through their cancer battles, and those
we remember. Aloha Dreams, a local food truck, will serve warm beverages on-site.
All proceeds from the Forest of Hope fundraiser go to Cancer Care of North Central Washington's social services, assisting cancer patients and their families with various needs,
including transportation, food, and lodging assistance.
Cancer Care of North Central Washington is a 501(c)(3) non-profit celebrating our 30th anniversary of serving regional cancer patients in 2023. The main program of Cancer Care
NCW is Our House, a healthcare hospitality house for out-of-town cancer patients receiving treatment in Wenatchee. Our House is located at 1708 Castlerock Avenue in
Wenatchee. We also provide social services for any regional cancer patients in need, such as payment assistance for medications, food, travel/lodging, and grants for expenses
related to treatment and/or personal situations.
