Kim Schrier criticizes Trump's policies and opposes RFK Jr.'s HHS nomination

Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington's 8th district, has expressed her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Schrier, who succeeded Dave Reichert in 2019, has been vocal about her concerns regarding federal workforce efficiency and public health matters.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Schrier addressed concerns over President Trump's approach to the federal workforce. She stated: "We all want the government to be more efficient, but President Trump's attempts to kneecap the federal workforce would push out experts like those at @bonnevillepower. This drives up costs for the ratepayer and puts the reliability of the Northwest grid at risk."

In another tweet dated February 6, 2025, Schrier voiced her opposition to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s potential confirmation as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). She remarked: "Make no mistake: If RFK Jr. is confirmed as the Secretary of @HHSGov, he will continue to sow doubt in the safety of vaccines, there will be a spike in infections, and children could die. The stakes are too high to confirm him, and I strongly urge the Senate to reject his..."

On February 7, 2025, Rep. Schrier shared an update with her constituents through a post titled "Schrier Flyer." She simply stated: "Here is this week's Schrier Flyer!"
