On March 9, 2025, Rep. Schrier criticized the current administration's trade policies. She expressed concern that "This administration’s reckless trade war will cause prices to rise, squeeze Washington families, and hurt the Eighth District, especially our farmers." She pledged her commitment to support local farmers and families.

The following day, March 10, 2025, Rep. Schrier reached out to young artists by announcing that her office is accepting submissions for the Congressional Art Competition.
