Rep. Kim Schrier, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington's 8th district, has been actively engaging with her constituents through social media and town hall meetings. In a series of tweets, she addresses significant issues concerning healthcare legislation and constituent concerns about recent political actions.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Schrier tweeted about her professional insights into primary care: "As a doctor, I know the crucial role primary care plays in keeping people healthy, preventing chronic disease, and catching medical conditions earlier." She further announced the introduction of bipartisan legislation aimed at strengthening Medicaid and improving access to primary care.

Later that day, Rep. Schrier shared her response to concerns raised by her constituents regarding actions taken by President Trump. She stated on Twitter: "I have received thousands of messages from constituents who are concerned about President Trump's recent actions." To address these concerns directly, she organized a telephone town hall with Attorney General Nick Brown.

Following the event on February 12, 2025, Rep. Schrier expressed gratitude towards those who participated in the town hall meeting: "Thank you to the over 14,000 constituents who joined my telephone town hall last night!" She acknowledged the influx of calls and messages from worried constituents and appreciated AG Nick Brown's assistance during the session.
